 Jay Adams (RIP) was in Washington Square Park in New York and was causing a ruckus as usual, and he took off running West when the cops showed up and he jumped off a pier into the Hudson to escape them.. A police helicopter arrived, they shone a spotlight on him, and followed him, swimming along to the next pier .. When he got there a policeman hauled him out and said 'Nice try, Jacques Cousteau'
