Tiffany colour krink and Lefranc Flashe vinyl emulsion on canvas
This is the first in a new series of paintings with a softer handThinking about the Factory and Union square in New York I remember doing a show on that block and being in the square and a blind lady asked if I could help her cross the heavy traffic, she had been in New Orleans during the floods and had lost her home and she had been uprooted and relocated to New York City. I thought how hard it must be for her dealing with loss and suddenly having to make her way around NYC. Funny how a painting can make you remember something from a while ago.
