I wanted to do a portrait of The Beatles for years, and I found the right image to use , tweaked the hell out of it, and then just as I finished painting it I just thought it would be funny to make them Vampires. I thought there might be a conspiracy theory in the internet that The Beatles were Vampires, but there isn't, so I'm starting one.

Here is my conspiracy theory. A lot of the lyrics to their songs like 'A Hard Days Night' and 'She's leaving home' suggest that The Beatles may have actually been Vampires. There is also some (completely made up) evidence that there was an increase in Vampire attacks in Hamburg between 1962 - 1964 and those dates directly correspond with the dates of their club residency in Germany.

During this time they stayed up really late and wore a lot of black.

During the footage of The Beatles at Shea Stadium there is a moment where Ringo Starr appears to turn into a bat and fly around.

Son of Dracula was a British musical comedy film, starring Harry Nilsson and Ringo Starr, produced by Starr and released in 1974 by Apple Films.

When The Beatles ended, McCartney's named his new group.. Wings.

The Hollywood Vampires was an Celebrity drinking club for Vampires formed by Alice Cooper in the 70's.. Ringo Starr was listed by Alice as one of the principal members and John Lennon was an honorary member.

When they were making Star Wars they didn’t want people to know that it was a film about Star Wars so they made fake T-shirts and called the film “BLUE HARVEST horror beyond imagination”.

I used to have one of these original T-shirts God I wish I still had it
